Post social toolbar plugin installed but not appearing

I’ve installed the social toolbar plugin on our wordpress site but it won’t work.

I’ve had issues with widgets in the past….in that, they don’t work on our site. When our wordpress template was created…..it wasn’t widget enabled for some reason. Could this be the reason why social toolbar won’t work?

Widget shouldn't be the issue. Is the toolbar not working or just not showing? Make sure you have in your theme:
1 <?php wp_footer() ?>

just before the closing BODY tag, usually this would be done in the “footer.php”.

Also, make sure your theme has:

2 <?php wp_head() ?>

inside the HEAD tags, usually this would be done in the “header.php”.

Both of these functions are needed for most plugins to work because like ours, many plugins add JavaScript and HTML codes using these two functions.

Hi followed your instructions and that seemed to work....partially.

The "show recent tweets" is set to yes, but latest tweets don't appear on the toolbar.

Any suggestions????

hello again,

Haven't heard from anyone regarding this. I really would like to upgrade to your paid pro version....but I need to be confident that all functionality works ok on our site.

For some reason, the latest tweet is not displaying.

Hi Bobby,

If recent tweet isn't showing it must be something conflicting in your code or with another plugin. There's no way for us to know what the issue is. Have you tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it? What is your URL?

Yeh, I would try deactivating other plugins to see what is conflicting with it. In most cases that usually the issue or it's some code in your theme conflicting with the Twitter feed api

Hi there. The toolbar is just not showing up at all. I followed the instructions on this thread for the footer functions. I'm not trying to use the twitter feed, so that's not it either. Maybe it's conflicting with my theme's footer, but I am not sure how to begin addressing that. And it's not a conflict with other plugins. I tested that.

I'd consider upgrading to Pro, but not until I can get this working. I upgraded to v1.8 through auto update. Let me know. Thanks! (site is subjectified.com)

Hello, I love the look and design of your toolbar and plan to buy the pro version for certain features, but the free version is currently not working on my site. It does not show up at all. http://www.gamesforconsciousness.com/

I added the php script to the header and footer in the correct places you suggested, I disabled the recent tweets, tried to run it on certain pages on the site while disabling it for others and I disabled all my other plugins and tried as well as deleted your plugin and reinstalled it and still nothing.

I have noticed that my Java Script Slider on my home page just churns the loading gif and never displays the images when your plugin is activated when normally it works fine. So your plugin is currently deactivated.

I will allow you to login to take a look at my code to figure what is causing the issue as I really want to buy your plugin. In my opinion its the cleanest social media plugin I have seen and it will be perfect for my site!

Please help me out, I really will by your plugin if it works without me having to lose other important features of my site!!!
